Mission

The mission of RedLou Library is to provide special literary opportunities for individuals living in the greater Viroqua area. We accomplish this by providing a mobile library service for people of all ages. The idea to develop these services is the result of Mary Mulvaney-Kemp’s experience as a reading specialist and librarian.

Purpose

1

To serve children by providing services at daycare and other educational facilities.

2

To serve children and youth who do not have adequate access to reading materials during the summer by providing services at a variety of locations.

3

To serve residents at assisted-living, skilled nursing and memory care facilities.

4

To serve individuals who have varying abilities and/or other challenges.

5

To provide opportunities to check out and return materials in each of the examples.
